I'm a SAHW and Mom to all the fur babies you see in the slide. They are Tigger, Jacque, Hank, Misses, Peppy, Andi and Sweetpea. I love stamping, taking care of my hubby of 21 years and all my babies.
Jacque is Tiggers littermate. These two are the oldest of the bunch. It's hard to believe we've had them for over 13 years. Jacque and Tigger were just the start of our ever expanding brood. Our love for cats in general have made us so passionate about caring for all our babies. We love them all so much. Jacque loves to have his food fed to him fresh from the bag about a million times a day. It's shocking he's so thin. He has several nicknames that he answers to. Some are...Man-Man, Sha-Sha, Mr Man, Ladee Da.
Tigger
Tigger is Jacques littermate. These two have graced our lives for over 13 years. Tigger is such a big baby. He likes to sleep cuddled up next to my ribs with his head lying on my arm. If he faces me, he will paw-paw on my upper chest and purr so loud. I love him and all my babies so much. You can tell Tigger is aging because he sleeps more and more with each passing year. It makes me sad to think of what's to come. I can't imagine my life without any of my babies. Tigger has his share of nicknames. Just to name a few...TT, Poot, Pooter Coot, Old Man Poot.
Hank
Hank is a kitty that we adopted from a pet store in Rock Hill, SC. We went in to buy items for the cats we already had and saw him. He was the only kitty in there. He kept pawing through the cage at me and I fell in love with him. I made my husband drive back home and pick up the pet carrier so we could take him home. He is the biggest baby. He, sometimes, gets so passionate while being petted, he starts to slobber. He has several nicknames. Some of them are...Yinkas, Howny Honk, Yuchas, Yinnie Yink
Misses
Misses is the first stray that I started feeding once we moved to Charlotte. It took her a little while to trust me and she was very apprehensive about letting me touch her. Once she relaxed and started to enjoy being petted, she's been putty in my hands. Little did I know, in the meantime she had gotten pregnant. She had one kitten in a neighbors garage in a desk drawer. I took the kitten in too. His name was Peppy. His profile is below. Misses constantly wants to be petted. She's such a sweet cat. Another rotten one. Her nicknames are...Minnie Ninnie, Cooter Pie, Misses Momma...just to name a few.
Peppy
Peppy is my sweet baby that passed away in January of this year. I miss him so much sometimes it hurts. We took Peppy in when his mother, Misses, gave birth to him in a desk drawer inside a neighbors garage. I had been feeding Misses and planned to take her in as soon as she was tame enough to get ahold of and take to the vet. Peppy was just an added bonus. He was only six years old when he suddenly passed. I treasure every single day I had with him. We had so many nicknames for him. Here are some we liked called him...Ippy Doo, Dibby Dop, Cow Cow
Andi
Andi is another one of our adopted fur babies. Her given name is Andromeda. She came into our lives through friends that had to give her up because their son is allergic. Knowing how much we love cats, they asked if we'd like to have her. It only took my husband and I a split second to agree. We had seen Andi several times while visiting our friends and fell in love with her on the spot. We are very happy to have her as part of the family. She, just like the rest are spoiled rotten. Andi has several names that we call her as well. Just to name a few... Miss Andi, Na Nuttin, Miss Meow, Meow Nuttin.
Sweetpea
Sweetpea was a stray that Jimmy started feeding behind his office. She fast became his friend so when it started to turn cold we couldn't just leave her out to fend for herself. Jimmy managed to get her in a crate one day after work. It took him two tries to get her in that thing. Once he got her home and she calmed down...which didn't take long to my shock, she got real cozy. She is so spoiled now. She's such a sweetheart; she melts my heart everyday. Sweetpea is a great addition to our family. She now runs the house to the others dismay. Sweetpea has several nicknames. We call her...Deet Peet, Kitty Cow, That That Kitty Kat
Bobcat
Bobcat is a stray male cat that I have been feeding and trying to tame. He has no tail at all...hence the name Bobcat. He's let me pet him briefly a couple of times while preoccupied with eating or playing. I can't wait for him to relax enough to enjoy some of the affection I'd love to give him. Once we gain his trust, he's off to the vet to be altered so he doesn't spray in the house, then he's mine for keeps. Isn't he beautiful? He seems to get along with the other kitties so far. He comes into the backyard by jumping our six foot privacy fence and lies down on the patio like he lives here. In this photo, he's perched on top of the railing of that fence just chillin'. He has nicknames too even though he's only been coming around a few months. His names are Big Boy, Haaay, Bob. The one that says Haaay is pronounced like a long Hey...as in hello. Everytime I see him I say " Hey" but drawn out so I think he thinks that's his name now. I go to the door and call out... Haaay, Big Boy and within minutes he usually shows up.
